Special Event 95th ANNIVERSARY OF RCA COASTAL STATION WCC

At 1730Z April 18 2016, exactly 95 years after the time recorded in the Superintendent’s Diary, the anniversary will be marked with a special CW bulletin on 40, 30, 20, 17, and 15 meters.

Now, in 2016, WA1WCC is set to commemorate the occasion with a Special Event, QRV from 1400Z April 17 to 2359Z April 18 on multiple bands, CW and SSB:

CW  frequencies   1850 – 3550 – 7050 – 14050 – 21050 – 28050 kHz

SSB frequencies   1921 – 3850 – 7230 – 14250 – 21325 – 28450 kHz

                                (all +/- QRM).

Look for spots of “WCC95”

All radio amateurs are invited to participate. QSL and Certificate will be offered (w/sase). Hams who learned CW by copying WCC press and traffic to ships on the high seas are especially welcome, as are former ship Radio Officers.
