In the year 1962 first embark as Radio Officer on the Ocean Liner P/S ASCANIA call sign IBAS of the Italian SIOSA Line. Awarded the Gold Medal for long navigation having completed 30 years of effective navigation. Today active radio amateur with call IK0GHA.
