Marine Transmitter – MEWA 3

This medium and short wave transmitter from MEWA was built in Poland in 1975.
There are 4 x 4CX250B tubes in the power amplifier for a power output of 1000 watts.
A1, A2, A3, A3H, A3A and A3J can be switched as operating modes, a telephony alarm signal generator (2-tone alarm) with a test facility is available.
Frequency processing is done digitally in the limit and shortwave range using a synthesizer. The desired frequency band is selected with the band switch (upper slot, middle right) and the desired frequency is set to 100 Hz with the switches on the synthesizer (middle slot above). For the medium wave, the desired quartz is selected using a switch (upper insert, middle left).
The power supply in the bottom shelf supplies all the voltages necessary for the operation of the transmitter.
