Marine Receiver – JRC NRD-1EL

Dear Sparks,

today it is the time of one old but good receiver made by JRC the model NRD 1EL built for merchant marine communications and largely used on ships of all flags. NRD-1EL has been a joint venture between JRC and Collins, the VFO was a PTO concieved for 1 MHz excursion.

Frequecy coverage: from 90 kHz up to 30 MHz

Priciple: supereterodybe triple conversion

Filters: Xtal filters 6/3/1 kHz

Tubes: 20 tubes + transistors

Charateristics: 19 inches for rack mountage
