INORC Award “30 years of foundation”

It was the 1984 when Nicola Mastroviti, IT9XNM, designed and founded, with notarial deed, INORC- Italian Naval Old Rhythmers Club, the club that for the first time in Italy, gathered all the radiotelegraphists coming from the military marine.

INORC one of the most prestigious club of the radiotelegraphists in the world, improved a lot, giving chances to the radiotelegraphists of the marine, and from different years also to the people who demonstrate passion and experiece for Radiotelegraphy.

Since then the Club has growed a lot and includes hundreds of ex professional radiotelegraphists members, italian and foreign amateurs radiostation.

The thirtieth club anniversary is going to be in 2014 and for this important event INORC has thought to celebrate with a “Thirtieth Award”.

This award is opened to everyone who loves the CW, an occasion to celebrate all together this important event, showing how much telegraphy is still today an extraordinary way to communicate.

Award rules:

Parteciption: opened to all radio amateurs and SWL.

Period: from 00,00 GMT of 01 February 2014 untill  23,59 of 28 February 2014

Bands: 10-15-20-40-80 meters in the respect of IARU bandplan.

Mode:  CW

QSO’s: each station can be contacted one time per band and are valid up all stations will take part at the Event working only on CW.

Points: each station partecipating at the Event are valid 1 point, INORC stations adressed with INORC/N are valid up three points, the special station  IQ1NM is valid up five points, (QSO with IQ1NM are considered good for the Award starting from 01 January 2011).

Points necessary to obtain the Award: 20 points for Italian OM-SWL,  15 points for OM-SWL outside of Italy.  The cost of the special Award is 10 Euro.

Special ranking: INORC members and not can request to be added on the special end ranking and the first three classified for the numbers of QSO’s made will be special awarded, for SWL will be considered only the first classified.
