Marine Radios- German radio equipments
Article by Radio Officer Riccardo Memeo (The Netherlands)
Among my collection of professional “souvenirs” I have some brochures of all the radio equipments used by Debeg in the installation of the standard radio stations onboard the majority of german vessels in the years late 50s and 60s. I found them in the radio room of the m/v Arolla/HBFC, which was the former german m/v Hohenfels/DEDW of the Hansa Line. They are written of course in german and I think that it will be a pleasant reading for the old german R/O that have used for many years this station. But for those who have no knowledge at all of the german language it is not difficult to understand most of the technical specifications.
Best regards,
R/O Riccardo Memeo
