40° INORC Contest – 1st Trophy “Nicola Mastroviti”

The I.N.O.R.C. to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the death of its founder Nicola Mastroviti IT9XNM, organizes as usual the CW Contest, now in its fortieth edition, the news of this year is the institution of the 1st Trophy dedicated to the memory of the I.N.O.R.C.  Founder. The Club station IQ1NM and numerous members will be operational to keep alive the memory of Nicola IT9XNM who in the distant October in 1976 – with the collaboration of some OM of his countrymen – he founded one of the most prestigious clubs dedicated to the radiotelegraphy.

Date: Saturday, Dec 5th 2020 00:00 UTC to Sunday, Dec 6th 23:59 UTC

Bands: 3,5 – 7 – 14 – 21 MHz

Mode: CW

Exchange:
– Naval Club members: RST + Club + Membership number ( eg. “599 IN002”)
– Non‐Naval members:RST + Number ( eg. “599 001”)

Points:
– Naval Club members: 10 points
– Non‐Naval members: 1 point

Rules:
– Each naval station may be worked once per band.
– Each logged member of a Naval Club is counted only once as a multiplier, even if the call has worked on multiple bands.

Score: Total QSO Points x Multipliers = total score

Participating Classes:
– N = Naval , I = Independent , S = SWL

Awards:
-N = Naval:
– the winner (1st place) will be awarded with the “Nicola Mastroviti”‐Trophy consisting in a cup;
– the 2nd and 3rd classified will be awarded with a plaque.
I = Independent
– the first three classified will be awarded with a plaque.
S = SWL
– the winner (1st place) will be awarded with a plaque.

All participants who have sent the log will receive a certificate of participation sent via email in PDF format.

Logs: The logs should be sent in Cabrillo format to: contestmanager@inorc.it no later than the 15th of December, 2020.
